I pieced together a very fresh and calming primary

I pieced together a very fresh and calming primary bedroom! Removing old popcorn from the ceiling, replacing carpet with a large format porcelain tile from @flooranddecor , and a fresh coat of Alabaster white from @sherwinwilliams created a blank canvas to work with! This poster bed from @arhaus will forever be a favorite of mine. The nightstands from @cb2 helped soften all of the angles in the room (not to mention they have great storage!). I had a closet removed and filled that space with a floor mirror and other decor which makes the room feel so much more spacious!

I think our bedrooms are the most important part of our home but we usually put them last on the list of importance. Nothing compares to falling asleep and waking up in a clean, calm room! Swipe to see the before photo, this room has gone through such a big improvement!

My neighbor here in South Florida had the bathroom in his North Carolina vacation home demolished with no plan for the rebuild! I only had a few photos from the real estate listing to help guide me. He needed everything to be in stock at the usual retailers like @homedepot and @loweshomeimprovement so I put together a plan for him! You can read why I chose everything on my website….the goal was timeless elements that will complement the traditional aesthetic of the rest of the home! 🏠🔨

I visited the @kbshowhouse yesterday in Providencia Park! It was a gorgeous day to stroll through the reimagined 1937 estate. Each designer has such unique style, yet all the rooms flowed together seamlessly!
I have a soft spot for outdoor living so the patios designed by @oxforddesign and @meglonerganinteriors were my favorite! The Guest Suite by @bberryinteriors and The Ladies Club by @carolinegidieredesign were also stunning. 🌸
The show house is open through March 16th and benefits the @kipsbaybgc and @bgcpbc !
